How we work (Policies and Procedures)

How we work as a Specialist Post-16 Institution (SPI)

bemix was registered with the Secretary of State as a Specialist Post-16 Institution (SPI) in August 2017. We provide support for people with learning difficulties and/or autism aged between 16-25 year olds.

Download our SEN (Special Educational Needs) Education Report 2022-2023

For a young person to access our Supported Employment programmes, their local authority’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) Team must name us as their education provider on their Education, Health and Care Plan. You can make an application directly through our referral form on our website, or SEN Teams can send us direct referrals for consultation.

“I’d say to any parent considering the course, then absolutely go for it. You’ll see your child transform and develop new life skills to take them through to their adult hood” (Kirsty, Alex’s Mother).
